Bridging the Gap Between Podiatry and Pedicure
My name is Jennifer Saxon. I'm the owner of Columbus Podology LLC.

With over a decade of experience in the foot care industry, my mission has always been to provide more than just an aesthetic service. Since becoming a licensed nail technician in 2012, I have dedicated my career to the science of the foot.

In 2013, I earned my Certified Master Pedicurist designation, specializing in nonsurgical solutions for ingrown nails and the understanding of common diseases, disorders, and deformities of the foot. My advanced studies in Podology include gait analysis, infection control, and specialized care for diabetic clients. To insure the highest level of clinical safety, I stepped away from the salon in 2019 to earn a Medical Assisting Degree, working directly within a podiatry practice to bring medical-grade knowledge back to my clients. My clinic, opened in May 2025, is the culmination of this journey - providing a safe, clinical, and expert environment for foot health.
Patient Care and Sanitation Coordinator
Ismael is the cornerstone of our clinic's safety standards. He is Certified in Infection Control and oversees the rigorous sterilization protocols that set our facility apart from traditional salons. Our clients frequently note his kind, welcoming demeanor and his unwavering attention to detail in maintaining a pristine environment. As a Trained Medical Interpreter, Ismael ensures that our English and Spanish clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable throughout their care.

To ensure the highest level of patient safety and prevent cross-contamination, Ismael manages a medical-grade sanitation process:
-
3-Step Tool Sterilization: Every tool undergoes a rigorous three-step cleaning and sterilization process
-
Autoclave Quality Control: Ismael preforms monthly laboratory testing on our autoclave to verify it is functioning at peak medical standards
-
Advanced Equipment Care: our electric files are fully disassembled and disinfected inside and out after every use
-
Environment Disinfection: After every client, the entire treatment room is disinfected, including all furniture, high-touch surfaces, and individual product bottles
